Night of Mayhem 8
Leo Beer Sor. Nak Dee of Melbourne CBD’s Team Dynamite Muay Thai went in two weeks straight with a win at an Interclub fight Saturday September 14th winning his bout comfortably which prepared the new Dynamite fighter for the big night out at Dandenong Showgrounds NIGHT OF MAYHEM 8 on the 21st of September against the home team opponent.
Leo who dropped a massive weight cut of 12.6Kg in a little over 4 days came in 1 Kilo under weight where his opponent who accepted the agreed fight weight at 84Kg even had not made weight coming in at 86.8 Kg.
Although 2.2Kg does not sound like a substantial weight difference, it does however impact the fighters ability to re-hydrate and re-energize in time especially when the fighter is at the last few kilos of their weight cut stage and has been in the sauna for XX amount of hours straight with nothing more than 2-3 hundred grams cut.
With Kru Dennis’ SF military back ground all Dynamite Fighters have adopted military physical and psychological discipline techniques which helps strengthen their focus and retracts their fear, pain and ego on a daily basis during the training at Dynamite.
This enables the combat mentality of “Discipline and integrity over fear and pain” Dynamite Sor. Nak Dee fighters are all very well adapted to being out of their comfort zone.
Leo Sor. Nak Dee went in with a trial and error game plan testing his range, clinching and ring control.
Most of the plan went out the window as they do in the first few fights but Leo regained and regrouped the plan finishing off with a U.P.D decision victory, a B.I.G smile and plenty of juice in the tank for another 2 rounds.
Sydney here we come! pt2
Part 2 Main Event:
Lukton Kaetgamtong “Ton” of Thailand Sor. Ploenchit and the help of Kru Dennis of Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee taking on the World Champion Ben Burrage for the W.P.M.F title.
Great fight from both the fighters, Ton though was clearly far more experienced and technical with his repertoire of Sweeps and dominating the clinch.
Ton looked at Kru Dennis Calling shots and executed precisely with great timing and control.
The Thai showman danced around with low guard whilst sporting a technical clinch against the strong, collected yet aggressive fighter Burrage who opted to go the heavy leg kicks and clinch knees and the occasional crescent kick.
The fight saw all three judges calling it as a convincing win ruling UPD Unanimous Points Decision Win for Ton the new WPMF title holder.
Sydney here we come!
Big weekend for Australian Muay Thai crew Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee again travelling upto fight in a brand new Sydney Promotion sanctioned by both the W.P.M.F World Professional Muay Thai Federation Thailand and the newly formed Australian chapter of the W. M. F World Muay Thai Federation.
Jun Sor. Nak Dee with only 6-months of training out of Dynamite Muay Thai’s Kru Dennis from Scratch took on a Sydney opponent on short notice only to have arrived with Kru in Sydney with the opponent pulling out mid flight to Sydney.
Jun who was weighing in at 63Kg stepped up to take on a Sydney Fighter at a scheduled weight category of 68.6Kg – 70.1Kg. By far out weighing Jun by atleast 5Kg.
Kru Dennis who Weighed Jun Sor. Nak Dee on Thursday at his heaviest prior to weigh in only managed to gain to 64.4Kg.
Jun Mentions to Kru Dennis and promoter “ I’m ok with the weight, looking forward to the night and experience of the Sydney Fight, actually more scared of the flight!”.
