Rumble in the Jungle pt2
Moments out Schweitzer “Philipino Smack” Sor. Nak Dee is at it again ready to take on a challenge and game changer.
Dynamite Muay Thai’s Kru Dennis is backstage again contemplating whether to accept the fight with last minute changed conditions or to scrap the fight moments before the bout is to take place as the night started off with Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fighter Hanuman getting the raw deal with his fight conditions.
The rules agreed on for Dynamite Muay Thai Fighter Schweitzer Sor. Nak Dee was 68 kg Full Thai Rules and to be given the name of the opponent at least 3 weeks prior since this match had been set.
A few days prior to weigh-in the fight has been changed to 72 kg, 1 day prior to weigh-in the opponent’s name had not been given nor the exact rules.
Day of the weigh-in fight is now semi-main event, the weight stands at 72kg which is 2 weight divisions above Schweitzer Sor. Nak Dee’s weight and the rules had been altered to modified Thai rules which deprives the Dynamite Fighter of his strengths and 4 weeks of dedicated Full Thai rules preparation in the weeks leading up to the fight.
Again due to the professional nature of Kru Dennis and his team they accept the fight knowing this would be a gamble as with this many weeks out without information this would give the opponent the edge on studying the Dynamite Muay Thai Fighter’s movements, strengths and weaknesses in his fight game.
“All the specifics of the fight were confirmed up to 3-4 weeks prior to the fight, to have them modified would be the same difference as swapping codes in professional football”. Kru Dennis.
On a good note – “With all the mishaps, the venue and promotion was set out very well and very smoothe running, the fighters all A class. Thanks again to James Roesler and Team Ultimate Hoppers Crossing for the opportunity!”. Kru Dennis
