Fight of the Night!

Dynamite Muay Thai Fighter makes pro debut after only 7 months training to fight.

What a war for her first fight against a heavy hitter last week at the Ultimate promotions event ” ULTIMATE HEROES” at Sunshine, Victoria last night.

Melbourne based Muay Thai fighter Kwan living, studying and training out of Melbourne CBD Muay Thai gym Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee stepped up on short notice to take on the more experienced favourite Katie of Toptier Geelong at the 50 kg division for a huge 3 rounds of non-stop hard hitting, clinching and sweeping to go head to head after her last two fights pulling out on the eve of their fights.

The fight looked to fall in the favour of the Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fighter with the strong and dominating forward step, clinch and Thai style catching and sweeping but unfortunately not winning the support of all 3 judges to receive a shock loss.

“I thought we did enough for the win, staying technical with clean Muay Thai technique, displaying a seasoned skill set  and demonstrating convincing Muay Thai but unfortunately to the Kickboxing background of the judges we didn’t get the win. That is the fight game.. Either way Kwan definitely earned her Thai fight name “Hong Thong” or “The Golden Swan” Sor. Nak Dee for her grace and technicality of her fight, massive props to her opponent. This was the best fight tonight in my books” Kru Dennis.

“Fight of the night, she was an absolute warrior with the barrage of knees and textbook execution, very composed, very technical and very convincing. She will definitely go a very long way.”

From 11 time World Muay Thai champion Nathan ” Carnage” Corbett who took the time to congratulate the Dynamite Muay Thai fighter Kwan Sor. Nak Dee after wishing fellow 50kg female team mate Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fighter Zia Seua for her upcoming 4 women eliminator  in Malaysia on December 12, 2015.

Kwan “ The Golden Swan” Sor. Nak Dee came off uninjured and is on a shortlist to fight again in two weeks at “WARRIORS WAY” if we can source a match-up. Fingers crossed.

Weighed-in, time to refuel!

Melbourne Based Muay Thai fight gym Dynamite Sor. Nak Dee has a late match up with the likes of a popular Geelong fighter Katie at the up coming Ultimate Promotions event “ULTIMATE HEROES” this weekend with fresh faced fighter to represent the mighty free army Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee.

Here Kwan Sor. Nak Dee passes her medicals and makes weight at the official “ULTIMATE HEROES” weigh-in. Standing at 49.8Kg.

Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fighter Kwan has been unfortunate with three previous fights resulting in walkovers because her opponents having pulled out with in 24 hours of the fight or the official weigh-in.

Melbourne will see a new level of technically A1 Muay Thai pro fighters on the Victorian fight scene with most fighters who come out of the Melbourne CBD’s Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee opt to commence professional competition within just a few months of training and often step right up to the level of International pro.

“The problem we have as an authentic Muay Thai gym is that most gyms in Victoria especially the “Muay Thai” gyms are actually Kickboxing or Karate oriented Muay Thai training facilities meaning that there isn’t a steady stream of newer fighters for my Newbie Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee fighters to fight against. The next thing is it’s almost impossible to find a near match in FTR (Full Thai Rules) which is allowing elbows and proper clinch, so when we do get a match we have to follow the opponents preference in rules i.e. Modified Thai rules without elbows, have the rules changed upon entering the ring or at best fight FTR against opponents with upto 6-7 pro fights against my Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee first time pro fighters who are stepping up.” Kru Dennis Dynamite Head Coach.

Dynamite dominates over the weekend

Great weekend for Team Dynamite Muay Thai with the ranks spread thin. Kru Dennis is away contracted to the International Fight teams of France and Indonesian sister gym Nataputra Muay Thai Camp so Coach Lily and the rest of the Dynamite Muay Thai Sor. Nak Dee hold the fort and fly the flag out at St Albans for the Hammers’ Interclub fights.

Awesome results for the team, with 5 fights 4 wins 1 draw, draw being due to level of intensity was to high. Overall experience was great for the development of Victorian athletes.

And That’s a wrap for Dynamite NAKSOO MUAYTHAI FIGHT 2 – Road to Victory

What a massive lead up and finale for the Dynamite NAKSOO Promotions second event in Jakarta, Indonesia. It started with a few minor sanctioning hiccups but eventually with all the fumbles on the Indonesian Muay Thai Sanctioning body NAKSOO MUAYTHAI FIGHT Series manage to retain its name and reputation as one of Asia’s premium Muay Thai events outside of Thailand.

Post event Promoter Kru Dennis expressed this to the local media press conference when asked about the behind the scenes hiccups. This what Kru Dennis had to say;

“Look I am not sure what the politics within the Indonesian professional Muay Thai sanctioning body is all about, but we Dynamite Muay Thai and Dynamite Promotions event Dynamite NAKSOO MUAYTHAI FIGHT Series are definitely not involved and nor are we interested in the matter. We are purely in Jakarta, Indonesia to promote the art, culture and respect of Muay Thai to the world starting with Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and then back to Australia, our origin. Regarding all the politics right now, all I can say is thanks to the “respectable” chain of command within the professional Indonesian board of Muay Thai two weeks out from the event we suffered a major blow by the ban imposed only on NAKSOO MUAYTHAI FIGHT FOR Indonesia’s first 8 man super fight and 4 women elimination fight BANNING ALL FOREIGN fighters competing in the Professional Indonesian Muay Thai tournaments.” “That being said the same organisation spearheading this ban is the sanctioning body who approved our friends Siam Super Fight to host an international tournament. The same department who with 3 days out from the event finally approved the event.” Kru Dennis (Promoter NAKSOO MUAYTHAI FIGHT Australia)
